ECHO’s team of dedicated volunteers donate over 1,000 hours of their time annually. If you’re interested in working with us, you can:
Become an ECHO community spokesperson: Community spokespeople serve limited English speaking communities in a variety of ways.
- ECHO TV hosts lend their talent to our monthly programming, presenting health and safety information on-camera.
- ECHO Captioners provide open-captions for ECHO’s multi-language television programs in English, to aid ECHO TV viewers in learning English.
- ECHO Ambassadors attend community events to put ECHO’s critical resources in the hands of the limited English speakers who need them most.
- Behind-the-scenes: ECHO spokespeople also provide the voices for ECHO’s phoneline, bringing timely health and safety tips to hundreds of Minnesotans in 10 languages.
